A tactic some insurance plans use where they refuse to pay a doctor’s standard rate. Instead, they look at what the government (Medicare) would pay for a service, and they only agree to pay 5% more than that. This often leaves the patient stuck paying the massive difference.
With a unique perspective shaped by my own learning disabilities, including ADHD, I bring a wealth of professional expertise in education and health policy, grant review, as well as research, evaluation, and treatment of children with speech, language, and reading disorders.
