ACA (Affordable Care Act)

A 2010 federal law (often called Obamacare) that expanded health coverage. It created health insurance Marketplaces, prevents insurance companies from denying you coverage for pre-existing conditions, ended lifetime caps (and annual caps) on the amounts health insurers would pay for patients, and requires certain large employers to offer health insurance.
