Rehabilitative Benefits

« Back to Glossary Index

Insurance coverage for therapies that help a person get back skills they lost due to an illness, injury, or medical event. For example, speech therapy for an adult relearning how to speak after a stroke is rehabilitative. (Note: Insurance companies frequently have different rules and limits for habilitative vs. rehabilitative care!)
